Towards an Architectural Education Quality Culture

4th Wokshop
City of Panamá, Panamá, March 19th – 23th, 2014
Faculty of Architecture, University of Panama

The workshop was held in Panama City, March 20th and 21st, 2014.

The main objective of this meeting, held as a plenary workshop and run as round table with the participants, was to know the different ways that contribute to the learning process of future architects. To do so, the discussion was focused on three key issues “teaching, excellence and innovation”. Each one of these three themes was referred to the pedagogic goals in the studio of architectural schools. This document includes the conclusions, motivations for the sessions, divergent and convergent opinions during the workshop and closing remarks. All of them came up with from participants that were part of the ARCHIMUNDUS network.

In this occasion and like the previous workshop – with a probed methodology and team work – the representatives of different universities and institutions, sent their approaches and answer to key questions in format that was written down with the information coming from their own schools of origin.
